Lisa Foshee is the Senior Vice President, Government Affairs and General Counsel at Auto Care Association. In this role, she provides leadership and direction for the association's federal and state legislative and regulatory efforts. These efforts include educating legislators on issues of importance to Auto Care Association members; building grassroots support among members and consumers for the association's legislative and regulatory objectives; informing and updating members on regulatory and legislative developments important to their business; and assisting members with federal, state and local law compliance.
Lisa graduated from The University of Virginia in 1989 and UVA Law School in 1992. Prior to joining the Auto Care Association, Lisa worked at AT&T, where she represented AT&T&'s Internet of Things group (focusing on AT&T's relationships with automotive OEMs) and advised the Company on antitrust and regulatory matters. Earlier in her career, she worked in private practice as a corporate litigator for 5 years and spent a year working for the UVA Athletic Department as an academic advisor to the men's basketball team.
Lisa has lived in Atlanta, Georgia since 1993 but grew up in McLean, Virginia. She is a loyal fan of the World Champion Atlanta Braves and all things UVA sports. Outside the office, you'll find Lisa enjoying time with her family, including her husband, her two college-age children, and her two dogs. Lisa also enjoys running, tennis, pickleball and wakeboarding.
