Andy Massoll
Vice President of Growth, Goodturn Tire & Auto
Andy Massoll is a seasoned leader and entrepreneur in the automotive repair industry, with a career that spans from growing up in the shop as a second-generation mechanic to leading a multi-state operation. His journey began in his family's business, Curt's Service, where he honed his skills to become a Master Certified Automotive Technician through ASE and Bosch in his early twenties. His dedication to elevating industry standards was instrumental in doubling the size and revenue of Curt's Service.
In 2014, Andy took the leap to start his own venture, acquiring his first independent store. Leveraging the knowledge and insights gained from working alongside his father, he expanded to establish The Detroit Garage Auto Family, growing it to six locations with a dedicated management team.
In May 2022, recognizing a synergy in values and vision with two other operators, Andy decided to merge his business with Apex Automotive in SE Florida, forming the Goodturn Tire & Auto family of brands. Transitioning into the role of VP of Growth, Andy, along with his partners, has led this partnership to expand from 10 stores to an impressive 45 across four states by the end of 2024.
Beyond his professional achievements, Andy is deeply family-oriented, enjoying his time away from work at home on the lake in Michigan with his wife Caitlin, their four daughters, and five cats, embracing a life where family and personal fulfillment are as important as business success.
