Thomas Simons joined Jefferies in September 2009 as a Money Market Economist. Thomas works with Chief Economist Aneta Markowska in forecasting and responding to the high frequency economic data on a daily basis. He also projects Treasury’s daily cash balances, forecasts Treasury coupon and bill supply, produces commentary and analysis on Treasury auctions and along with Aneta, publishes the weekly Economic and Bond Market Insight. Prior to joining Jefferies, Thomas worked as a junior economist at Stone & McCarthy Research Associates. Thomas received his BS in Finance from The College of New Jersey in 2006 and earned his CFA charter in 2011.
