
Megan Mabin

Megan Mabin leads research, policy analysis, and multi-stakeholder policy development projects for packaging, batteries, mattresses, and textiles. Her role involves direct collaboration with diverse stakeholders to bridge the gap between industry and government, driving forward EPR initiatives. She is currently co-facilitating the multi-stakeholder advisory board that provides input to the Colorado packaging EPR program plan and supports PSI’s partners to respond to packaging compliance requirements. Prior to joining PSI, Ms. Mabin led and developed global, high-impact projects in the UK and Australia. She has partnered with over 30 governments delivering circular economy projects focused on system and behavior change. Her expertise encompasses flexible packaging collection systems, textile product stewardship programs, multi-stakeholder communications, and materials management aligned with waste hierarchy principles. Ms. Mabin brings strong skills in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and behavior change to her work at PSI. She holds a master’s degree in Corporate Sustainability Management from Monash University, Melbourne Australia, and bachelor’s degree in business from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane Australia.
