Auto Care Association Launches New ‘PIES™ for Heavy Duty’ Online Course

Equipping the Heavy Duty Industry with Standardized Product Information

BETHESDA, Md. – July 31, 2024 – The Auto Care Association is proud to announce the  release of its newest online course, "PIES™ for Heavy Duty," as part of its expanding data standards e-learning series on the Auto Care Academy platform. This interactive, self-paced course is designed to educate professionals in the heavy duty aftermarket on how to leverage the Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES™) to streamline operations and improve communication with trading partners. 

The PIES™ for Heavy Duty course offers participants a comprehensive understanding of the cataloging process and how to effectively use PIES™ to ensure consistent and efficient communication within the heavy duty sector. By completing this course, professionals will learn how to: 

  • Eliminate redundant communication and distribution efforts;
  • Achieve significant time and cost savings; 
  • Reduce supply chain expenses;
  • Accelerate product introduction and speed to market; and 
  • Contribute to increased sales, improved operational efficiencies, and reduced returns.

    The “PIES™ for Heavy Duty” course is now available on the Auto Care Association's e-learning platform, Auto Care Academy. Successful completion of the course earns 0.2 CEUs towards an ACP, AAP or MAAP from Northwood University.
