Member Spotlight: Joe Delorme

Can you briefly describe your aftermarket journey/path to your current position?

Joe Delorme Headshot

I’ve been a ‘car guy’ from a very young age due to my father’s influence as an  enthusiast. As soon as I was eligible for my working papers, I got a job at my local Exxon gas station that had full-service pumps and a three-bay service garage. Shortly after that, I worked at AZ as well as PBY in parts and service during my undergraduate and graduate days. However, my first “big boy” job in the aftermarket started at Cardone Industries in Product Management where I was responsible for Brakes. From there, I spent some time at E360, which is a parts manufacturer based out of India, to gain global experience in parts manufacturing and distribution channels within the aftermarket. That led me to my current role at Dorman Products where I serve as a Director of Product Management for the Engine hard parts SBU.

Favorite networking icebreaker?

I like to keep it automotive-friendly and simple: What’s your favorite car?

Favorite free time activity?

Free time?! I have two highly active sons, so they keep me busy. If I do manage to get some downtime, I enjoy working on my cars and being outdoors.
