We are working tirelessly on the Federal, State and local level to educate officials on how COVID-19 impacts the auto care industry. We have summaries of current federal and state response efforts as well as joint advocacy letters that we have signed onto with other trade associations impacted by COVID-19.

Advocating for our Industry
The COVID-19 pandemic has put the immediate welfare of businesses across our country into the hands of federal and state lawmakers. Now more than ever, it is critical for our industry to be fully engaged in all three components of advocacy: grassroots, lobbying, and pac.

Last year was significant for businesses across the country as COVID-19 shut down many parts of our economy. The Auto Care Association stepped in to ensure that our industry was declared essential and had access to federal funding to keep our businesses open. And in November, we celebrated a significant Right to Repair victory in Massachusetts, bringing us closer to our goal of being able to access vehicle repair data and serve our customers.
