Auto Care Careers Internship Scholarships Available

BETHESDA, MD – January 26, 2017 – The Auto Care Association is now accepting applications for the 2017 Auto Care Careers Internship Scholarship program. This program provides financial support for students pursuing internships across the country who wish to gain valuable, real-world experience in a variety of auto care businesses and careers. The program is administered by the Auto Care Association’s Job and Career Development Program.

Auto Care Association Unveils Findings of Heavy Duty Product Information Standards Study

BETHESDA, MD – January 26, 2017 – The Auto Care Association recently commissioned a Heavy Duty Industry Feasibility Study on behalf of its HDDA: Heavy Duty segment to determine the viability of establishing product information standards for the heavy duty aftermarket supply chain. Findings of the industry-driven study were presented Jan. 25 during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) in Las Vegas.

Next Step Program Offers Young Professionals Scholarships

BETHESDA, MD – January 25, 2017 – The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) and the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) will offer young industry professionals the opportunity to experience up-close how the Auto Care Association and various aspects of the industry work through participation in the Next Step Program. The Next Step Program offers future leaders in the auto care industry the opportunity to become involved in the industry and trade association by receiving scholarships to attend the Auto Care Association’s Spring Leadership Days, May 3-5, 2017 at the Grand Hyatt Regency, San Antonio, Texas.

Auto Care Association Launches New Advocacy Website

BETHESDA, MD – January 18, 2017 – The Auto Care Association has launched autocareadvocacy.org, a new website for auto care professionals to get more involved in the public policy process. Two key elements of the association’s government affairs operation – grassroots and the Auto Care Political Action Committee (ACPAC) – will now be hosted on this website, with multiple tools and resources dedicated to each component.

Auto Care Association Announces Webinar on Business Opportunities in Colombia

YANG to Present Second Annual Leadership Conference
